April 7th, Secaucus Municipal BuildingEarlier in the month of April the Secaucus Town Hall announced the installation of a drug dropbox in the lobby of the police station, where families can properly dispose of unwanted pharmaceuticals so they don’t fall into the wrong hands. Mayor Michael Gonnelli said that when the dropbox was opened the morning of the press conference, 38 pounds of prescription drugs were removed that had been deposited by members of the public. This behavior is called binge drinking. It is dangerous and can lead to sexual assaults, blackouts, injuries, or even death.
