Bill Preventing Teen Cough Medicine Abuse Signed into Law

On Tuesday, October 13th, NJ Governor Chris Christie signed a bill that prohibits the sale of over-the-counter medications that contain dextromethorphan, a chemical found in most cough and cold medicines, to anyone under 18 years old. This bill takes effect on February 1, 2015.
