Town Hall Meeting- April 26th

Hudson County Coalition For A Drug-Free Community would like to thank all who came out to the Town Hall Meeting on Underage Drinking held on April 26th at New Jersey City University. It was a great success! During the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to participate in an interactive activity, view a Public Service Announcement, and listen in on panelist discussion. The coalition also announced their college survey raffle winners of the $200 gift cards. Town Hall Meeting – April 26th

On April 26th, join the movement in finding the solution to reducing underage drinking. Participate in an interactive activity and vote on the winning Public Service Announcement entry. Hear our knowledgeable panelist speak on their experiences within the field of prevention and get your questions answered. The Town Hall Meeting will be taking place at New Jersey City University’s Gothic Lounge located in 2039 Kennedy Boulevard,  Hepburn Hall, Room 202, Jersey City, NJ 07304. Freedom of Choice, Youth Task Force-Union City

Union City's Youth Task Force partook in an awareness activity. They distributed folders with educational information about responsibly selling Tobacco Products in the state of New Jersey to four retailers. The youth informed all four retailers on the importance of them not selling Tobacco to those under the legal age of 19. P.S. 12 Youth Task Force Activity

Jersey City's P.S. 12  Youth Task Force partook in an activity of creating T-Shirts that creatively expose the Big Tobacco Company's lies on January 6- January 7. This activity calls for creating a powerful visual display that can help people within the school and community realize the deadly consequences of tobacco use and the tactics used by the tobacco industry to market their products.
